nipple surgery

The most common nipple surgery is to resolve the issue of inverted nipples, but other options are complete nipple reconstruction following mastectomy, reduction of nipple or areola size and also in combination with other breast surgery procedures such as breast augmentation or breast reduction.

Inverted nipples, in one or more breasts, can be a concern for women due to aesthetic reasons and significant breast feeding difficulty. Inverted nipples can be surgically corrected to restore nipple projection, and depending on the severity of the nipple inversion, Dr Clarke can perform the surgery to create the ideal cosmetic result, while preserving the milk ducts to improve the ability to breast feed.
